Compressed air installations

Comprehensive construction of compressed air distribution systems.

Our designers take into account all parameters important for maximum use of compressed gas while minimizing the costs of its production. We create pneumatic installations for both large and smaller production plants.

Pipe systems for many applications

Geberit pipe systems have been used in industry for many years to create compressed air and other compressed gas installations. These systems are ideal for use in the automotive industry, agriculture and even the shipbuilding industry, thanks to the perfectly matched elements of the entire system.

Crimping: economical, safe and reliable

Today, pipe compression connections are almost standard - they have practically completely replaced welding and soldering. Connections made using clamping technology are exceptionally strong and withstand pressure of over 75 bar depending on the diameter. They enable quick installation of such an installation, which means significant benefits in terms of saving time and money.

Pneumatic installations - design

CZEMAR also offers services in the field of designing compressed gas installations. Our designers create systems based on the compressed air demand of production processes. They develop projects that take into account the balance of compressed gas consumption and determine pressure drops for the created pneumatic installation.

Importantly, they treat such systems as technological installations that must meet the conditions of structural safety, fire safety, operational safety and energy savings (in accordance with Article 5.1 of the Construction Law).

Why is it worth choosing our company to design a pneumatic system? The use of compressed gas as an energy carrier in production processes is efficient, but at the same time expensive - only 15-18% of the energy of compressed air is obtained from a unit of electrical energy during compression. Therefore, the key to optimizing operating expenses is to create a system tailored strictly to the needs of the production process.

What to take into account when designing?

When designing pneumatic installations, it is crucial to take into account several parameters that will allow you to create a compressed air system tailored to the needs of a given plant, which will also be economically optimal. It is particularly important to analyze the demand for the medium in terms of:

Determining the amount of compressed gas will allow you to select the optimal elements that the compressed air installation should have, such as: compressors, dryers, tanks, filters and pipeline diameters. It is also important to indicate the working pressure of the compressed gas used in the production process. This parameter allows you to select devices that guarantee maintaining the appropriate pressure of the medium on the end elements of the system.

It will be unjustified to purchase compressors for high pressure levels (e.g. 10 bar) while requiring lower pressure in final devices. Gas consumption per unit of time is also significant. Here, the designer will be able to propose fixed- or variable-speed compressors producing compressed air adequate to the process demand and/or take into account the use of buffer tanks of appropriate volume allowing for uninterrupted operation at the site of the largest consumption.

From the point of view of the type of production, an important issue is also taking into account the purity class of the compressed air used. This parameter determines the type of filters, dryers (adsorption or refrigeration) or indicates the choice of oil-free compressors in the most demanding industries (e.g. food, optical, medical, pharmaceutical).

Why with us

Pipeline and tanks – how to reduce losses in the installation

In order to reduce losses and optimize compressed air parameters, our designers and contractors adjust the pipe diameter to the needs of a specific production process.

When building pneumatic installations, we recommend using the so-called smooth pipes that minimize friction and a limited number of places to change the flow direction. At the same time, we use pipes that are resistant to corrosion, i.e. steel pipes with the appropriate AT-15 technical approval.

To maintain full tightness, we use an innovative solution in the form of the GEBERIT pipe clamping system, which ensures easy installation. The designs we create and the technologies we propose allow us to achieve a minimum pressure drop in installations (reaching 0,1 bar from the compressor to the most distant collection point).

In our projects, to maintain the set pressure in the network, we also include the installation of pressure vessels. Their volume is adjusted to the size of the system in a way that ensures constant parameters of the working medium.

Each pneumatic installation should contain an appropriate number of valves that will isolate the collection points from the network.

Favorable service contracts

To guarantee production continuity, our designers connect individual devices or production lines to one supply pipeline - this way, closed valves do not disable the entire production.
