We provide an unprecedented level of heat recovery from compressors, which we use for heating purposes. There is nothing to hide here - you save gas and electricity, which protects your plant against energy price increases.
We will be radically honest: because no one has ever provided such a high level of service for cogeneration energy use. Customers became accustomed to a fictitious level of usability, so technologists "provided" it.
A higher level of energy efficiency was associated with a very complicated design, a system that was difficult to adjust, and an advanced control algorithm. Therefore, installation designers and technologists were unable to offer it. Until now.
The rapid increase in energy prices means that today our team is able to recover heat from the technologically operating compressor and use it for heating purposes. This allows you to reduce energy purchase costs to a minimum and, in times of energy uncertainty, provide peace of mind to bosses, managers and managers. Additionally, they will show the approval of the accountant and financial analysts.
A compressor working in your plant produces heat as a side effect. In a standard system, it is discharged into the environment without generating any profit.
Meanwhile, technologically it is possible to use the heat that is a by-product heating purposes.
In our systems, an additional heat exchanger located inside the compressor takes over the heat produced during operation of the device and then integrates it into the existing heating system.
From now on, the heat generated when using the compressor, instead of being removed and therefore simply wasted, is used to heat the plant. This eliminates the need to use another heat source during the process. The previously used boiler or other energy source can therefore remain turned off, saving the amount of gas or electricity used in the plant.
The amount of savings depends primarily on the decision made and how quickly we decide on this lucrative and dynamically profitable investment.
We are able to offer systems that recover approximately 80% of heat.
With a compressor consuming 30 kW of eclectic energy, we recover approximately 25 kW of heating power, obtaining it in the form of a heating medium with a supply temperature of 70℃.
Typically, the main source of energy in production plants is gas. At its current price (data for the fourth quarter of 2022) of PLN 9,90 per m³ and the efficiency of the current boiler at the level of obtaining 1 kW of heat from 11,2 m³ of gas, we have a saving of PLN 0,80 per 1 kW, i.e. obtaining 25 kW from the compressor – you receive PLN 20,00 per hour.
Now count how many hours your compressor works per year when you use heating, and then multiply your profit by PLN 20.
In Poland, heating is normally on from September 1 to May 31. This gives 8 months of 20 days of work, at least 8 hours a day.
This is the profit we will achieve with single-shift work. If your plant operates continuously, the profit should be multiplied three times.
If energy prices continue to increase - and it is no secret that they will..., the projected profit is even greater! You cannot turn off a compressor used for production and technological purposes anyway. So why wouldn't you benefit from her work? Additionally, you will extend its life. It is no secret that compressors benefit from continuous operation.
